1.Who is responsible?
This website is operated by Tar-Palantír BV, Liezele-Dorp 17, 2870 Puurs, Belgium, company number BE 0681.503.489. For questions about this statement or the handling of your personal data, contact Stefan Peetroons at stefan@stefanpeetroons.be.
2.When you contact us
The website has no contact form. If you choose to email or call Stefan, we receive the information you provide and use it to respond to your enquiry, consider a possible collaboration and, where relevant, manage the ensuing professional relationship.
For initial enquiries, the basis for this processing is our legitimate interest in responding to professional enquiries or, where applicable, taking steps at your request before entering into an agreement. If a collaboration begins, additional processing may be necessary to perform an agreement or meet legal obligations.
Please avoid sending sensitive personal information in an initial message unless it is necessary for your enquiry.
3.When you request a guide
To access a guide in the Leadership Decision Series, you complete a short form. We collect your email address, your first name if you choose to give it, the guide you requested, the time of the request, and context about how you reached it: the page you came from, the article, conversation or testimonial that led you there where applicable, any campaign (UTM) parameters in the link, and topic tags derived from that context. We also note a few first-party signals, such as whether you have requested another guide or chose a route on the site. Requesting the same guide again updates your existing request.
We use this information to provide access to the guide and to understand which questions and content are useful to visitors. The basis is our legitimate interest in offering and improving these guides, and your request for access.
The form also offers a separate, optional checkbox to receive occasional perspectives by email. It is not pre-ticked and is not required for guide access. If you tick it, we record your consent and the time you gave it. No email service is currently connected and no newsletters are being sent. You can withdraw consent at any time by emailing stefan@stefanpeetroons.be.
Guide requests are stored in the website’s backend database, which is part of the site’s hosting infrastructure. They are not publicly accessible. You can ask for your request to be deleted at any time.
4.Continuing the thinking by email
Some articles and question pages end with an invitation to receive occasional perspectives by email. If you accept, we record your email address, optional first name, the page (and, for question pages, the question and its theme) and context from which you signed up, any campaign (UTM) parameters, and your explicit consent with its date. On some pages you may also choose whose question you are considering (for example an appointment, a team, or your own next chapter); that choice is stored with your details.
If you accessed a guide and opted in to perspectives, we also note which guide you might explore next. Repeat sign-ups from the same page update your existing record rather than creating a new one.
We use this first-party context, together with a short list of actions you take on the site (such as requesting a guide or choosing a route), only to make future perspectives relevant. There is no automated profiling with legal or similar effects, and no third-party behavioural tracking. No email service is connected yet, so no messages are currently sent. The basis is your consent, which you can withdraw at any time by emailing stefan@stefanpeetroons.be.
5.How long we keep enquiries
If an initial enquiry does not lead to a collaboration, we retain the related correspondence for no more than 12 months after the last contact. If a collaboration begins, other retention periods may apply to information needed for that relationship or to meet legal obligations.
6.Website visits and service providers
The website’s hosting and security infrastructure may process technical information, such as an IP address, browser information and request logs, to deliver and protect the website. The site’s fonts are served from the website itself.
The website has no contact form; its only forms are the guide access form described in section 3 and the optional email invitation described in section 4. No newsletter is currently sent, and the website does not use visitor analytics, advertising trackers or third-party behavioural tracking. The current cookies and similar browser storage are described in the separate Cookie Policy.
Email messages sent to Stefan’s published address are handled through Combell, his email service provider, as well as the sender’s own email service. The website itself has no contact form or database of enquiries.
7.Sharing and transfers
We share personal data only with service providers where necessary to operate the website, handle correspondence or comply with a legal obligation. We do not sell personal data.
8.Your rights
Subject to the conditions in applicable data protection law, you can request access to your personal data, correction or erasure, restriction of processing, or object to processing. Where applicable, you may also request data portability. Send a request to stefan@stefanpeetroons.be.
You may lodge a complaint with the Belgian Data Protection Authority: www.gegevensbeschermingsautoriteit.be.
9.Changes
We may update this statement when the website or our handling of personal data changes. The date at the top shows when it was last updated.
