Perspectives
The questions behind the decisions.
Leadership decisions are often framed too narrowly. A search begins with a job description. An organisation discusses an individual when its roles may need to change. A successful executive considers the next position before asking what the next chapter should make possible.
The perspectives here examine those wider questions. They connect business realities with people, organisations and the value they create.
Questions That Matter
“What does it really cost to appoint a CEO?” “Do we need a board yet?” “What would a serious assessment tell me?”
The questions owners, boards and executives actually bring — examined in layers, down to the decision underneath. Start with the question you are carrying →
What are we really deciding?
A better question does not remove uncertainty. It helps us see what is at stake: for the organisation, for the people expected to lead it, and for those affected by its choices.
The aim is to look beyond immediate performance without dismissing it. Economic strength, human development and meaningful contribution can inform the same decision.

The Leadership Decision Series
From leadership question to leadership decision. Four guides, one connected discipline.

“Stefan makes you look ahead. What could this person be capable of five or ten years from now?”
“It was one of those rare conversations that creates clarity without telling you what to do.”
“He does not hand you easy answers. He helps you understand yourself well enough to make better choices about your future.”

A perspective becomes useful when it changes the conversation.
If one of these questions connects with a decision you are facing, I would welcome a conversation.
